What methods of payment do you accept?​

We currently accept Visa and Mastercard, debit cards, and Paypal.  Payment must be made during checkout.



Payment & Shipping

Every order will be shipped as soon as feasibly possible.  All orders will be made Monday through Thursdays (as that is when the workshop is open) with shipping within one business day of the order being finished (unless the order is finished on a Thursday - in that case your order will ship the following Monday).  Once shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number.  So please be sure to use a valid email when purchasing your shirt/s as well as ensuring your spam protocols do not block "shipping@leadwithkindness.store".



Returns & Refunds

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for postal issues.  If your shirt is damaged in shipping not of our fault, we will offer a 30% discount on a second purchase.

We will offer exchanges/refund/damaged only up to 30 days after purchase.  All items eligible for return/exchange MUST be unused and in the same condition upon receiving.  Shipping charges for the return is the customer responsibility.  Please email info@leadwithkindness.store with any return or refund questions.

 

What is a sheltered workshop?

A sheltered workshop provides a controlled, safe, and highly supervised work environment and program designed toward enabling adults with disabilities to progress toward normal living and to develop, to his/her capacity, productivity and relationships with other persons, but most specifically, their peers.  Sheltered workshops provide work experiences diverse enough to accommodate the needs of each individual adult and their disability/ies.  Workshops also help to coordinate and integrate their services with other community agencies for the benefit of their employees.​

What is Lead with Kindness?

At DOCO, we teach all of our staff and employees that you are allowed to feel any feeling and emotion you may have, however, you must Lead with Kindness in all that you do.  We believe that leading with kindness should be common place and want to share our motto with everyone!

Is DOCO a non-profit?

YES! DOCO is committed to providing dignified and meaningful employment to our handicapped and disabled workers and Lead with Kindness is just one of our departments.  Your purchase helps us to provide that!

Is each t-shirt actually made by disabled adults?

Every job in our facility is performed by our fantastic employees!  As for the t-shirt department, our disabled employees fold, stock, take inventory, apply the designs, and ship! Your purchase really does aid us in our mission - providing dignified and meaningful employment!​

What kind of disabilities do your employees have?

The majority of workshop employees have been diagnosed with developmental disabilities.  Other common disabilities include mental illness, head injury, blindness, deafness, seizure disorders, and physical disabilities.  Prior to being hired for employment in the workshop, individuals must be assessed by the DESE Certification Specialists to determine whether or not they are capable of working in a competitive environment at this time.  If the Certification Specialist determines they cannot work competitively at this time, he/she will certify them for employment in the workshop.

Why do your designs only have certain diagnoses/awareness ribbon designs?

We're just starting! Right now we are featuring designs with diagnoses we currently have at the workshop.  Please feel free to email if you would like to see a certain design!  We may just add it!
